Fun things to do on the water

Happy Groundhog Day!!!

Since today's forecast was 50-50 chance of rain, we decided to stay near hotel .....played tennis early ( Tommy and Lynn are the current champs- no surprise there:)

David headed for pool...
I headed to "our beach"  and I had the beach all to myself!!  What a nice treat...reading, relaxing, watching the waves..then:

2 windsurfers headed out; then a kite boarder ( very colorful and the sail  is a lot bigger than it looks from shore).....they were riding the waves and were air-born for a bit....huge waves and 20 mph winds..it takes a  LOT of strength and skill to manuever sails on the ocean....
Then,  3 more windsurfers ( I've never seen so many of them here, due to currents and surfing waves and shore breaks that can be tricky for boarders)...and - lo an behold-    several more kite-boarders popped their sails and off they went..it was really exciting to watch them tossing and turning and criss-crossing each other ( is that part of the sport- seein how close they can get to each other? ).   One guy went all the way across the harbor to the other shore....whoa..and he made it back " upwind" ( sailors know it can be tough to sail into the wind and , you can only get a certain angle of sailing)...quite the skill involved..... so, I was tired out just watching them.
It was nice of them to provide hours of activity for my viewing pleasure...they were still out there having a grand ole time...

And, I'd like to take note of some of the "little things" to ponder:

sun sparkling on the water..
A single fish in a cove....looks a bit lonely, but surviving on his own..
A deserted beach..ahh- no radios or people or hub-bub...
Strolling the beach with sand between your toes....
Leaving windows open at night and NOT using air-conditioning...

That's all for now ( computer is a bit loggey).
I may try to add photos to postings when I get home ( Sachin, can I do that?)
